Founded in 1950, The Witterings Dental Practice has proudly served the West Sussex community for over 75 years. Many of our new patients come through recommendation, with some travelling from further afield to experience our care.
Conveniently located in the centre of East Wittering, we are easily accessible and open Monday to Friday, 08:30–17:30. Saturday appointments are available upon request.
We offer a full range of dental treatments, from general care to cosmetic dentistry, all in a modern, calming environment. Our relaxed, professional approach helps even the most anxious patients feel completely at ease.

Dr. Adnan is the Principal Dentist at The Witterings Dental Practice, overseeing every aspect of patient care and clinical standards. To him, dentistry is both an art and a science — delivering natural, functional, and confident smiles while ensuring comfort, trust, and long-term oral health.

Samantha graduated in 1997 and brings extensive experience across general dentistry, restorative dentistry, oral surgery and the care of nervous patients.
After qualifying, she worked in general practice before completing two posts in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, later gaining Membership of the Faculty of Dental Surgery with the Royal College of Surgeons of England.
Samantha has also worked as a Senior Dental Officer in Restorative Dentistry, accepting referrals for more complex cases including occlusal rehabilitation, aesthetic concerns, dental phobias and patients with complex medical needs.
A particular area of interest for Samantha is clinical hypnosis. She teaches with the British Society of Clinical and Academic Hypnosis, supporting medical and dental colleagues through foundation training, and has also delivered webinars for professional dental organisations.
Samantha has a calm, thoughtful and reassuring approach, helping patients feel listened to, supported and more at ease throughout their treatment.

Originally from Warwickshire, Cheryl moved South in 1979 and settled in Sussex in 1991. She has been a qualified hygienist for 40 years, providing general hygiene and periodontal care, and has worked in both teaching hospitals and private practice, bringing extensive experience to her patients.
Cheryl is passionate about her work and enjoys building strong connections with her patients. She has a particular interest in supporting nervous patients, helping them feel comfortable and at ease during their visits.
Outside the practice, she is an active member of The Order of Women Freemasons, supporting local charities.

He graduated from the University of Portsmouth with First Class Honours in Dental Hygiene and provides high-quality preventative and periodontal care.
Dominic believes outstanding oral health begins with trust, comfort, and familiarity. He is dedicated to building strong, supportive relationships with his patients, ensuring they feel relaxed, listened to, and confident at every appointment.
Outside the practice, Dominic is a keen fisherman and fitness enthusiast, with a passion for travelling and maintaining a healthy lifestyle.

Carley brings over 15 years of experience in dentistry, having worked in both NHS and private practices alongside a wide range of general and specialist dentists. As Practice Manager, she plays a key role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of the practice and supporting both patients and the clinical team.
Carley values strong communication and believes every patient should leave the practice feeling supported and reassured. She takes pride in helping to create a calm, positive environment where patients feel at ease.
Outside of work, Carley’s main passion is horses, which she shares with her daughter. They have two ponies and spend much of their free time enjoying them together. She also enjoys walking the family dog, spending time with her family, and making the most of life in East Wittering. In addition, Carley is a volunteer Coastguard Rescue Officer with the Selsey Coastguard Rescue Team.

Amanda lives in Gosport, Hampshire, with her husband and three rescue dogs. She has many years of experience within dentistry, having worked across a wide range of roles including dental nursing, qualified implant nursing, reception, treatment coordination, and practice management.
As a senior nurse, she plays a key role in supporting the clinical team and ensuring patients receive a high standard of care. She enjoys working closely with patients and thrives in a patient-facing role within the practice.
Outside of work, Amanda spends most of her time with her large family and her dogs.

With previous experience and training as a Dental Surgery Assistant, Julia brings a strong understanding of dental procedures to her role, enhancing the support she provides to both patients and the clinical team.
Outside the practice, Julia enjoys spending time with her family, including her two grandsons, going for walks, visits to the park, and time by the sea. She also enjoys entertaining friends and family at home.

Ella has worked within the dental profession for over 30 years and has experience as a Practice Accounts Manager across multiple surgeries. Now semi-retired, she has taken on the role of Receptionist at The Witterings Dental Practice, where she enjoys welcoming patients and building positive connections.
Outside of work, Ella enjoys looking after her three grandchildren, going on walks, and reading.
